4:00-8:00 p.m. - Check-In
6:00 - Celebrity Showdown

Saturday, January 27:
8:00 a.m. - Heifer Show Ring A Begins
Ring B will begin at the conclusion of the Angus Heifers in Ring A. 
Showmanship will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the Ring B Heifer Show and photos are complete
9:00 a.m. - Stockmanship Salesmanship Contest
4:00-6:00 p.m. - Market Animal Check-In

Sunday, January 28:
8:00 a.m. - Market Animal Show Ring A Begins
Ring B will begin after the conclusion of the Chianina Steers in Ring A.

Other Information                                                                               

  • Entry fee $90 for both rings, $45 single ring for BEST participants. $100 for both rings, $50 single ring for non-BEST participants. Clark County exhibitors will be FREE!
    • **ATTENTION Clark Co. Exhibitors - choose the option to pay with cash or check at the show
  • Bedding will NOT be provided. Shavings are the only bedding allowed by the champions center. If you would like to purchase shavings, they will be available for purchase from the champions center.
  • Health papers must comply with state requirements.          
  • Negative BVD tests for all cattle
    • Exception for those showing at their first show of the season and do not plan to show at another BEST show                                                           
  • Steers and market heifers born after 1/1/23                                                       
  • Breed heifers born on or after 9/1/22                                                
  • Steers & Market Heifers and Crossbred Heifers shown by weight                                                
  • Breed heifers shown by age                                                                        
  • No heaters or generators allowed inside the Champion’s Center indoor barn. Generators are allowed and encouraged if you stall in the outdoor horse barns.                                                                     
  • Food vendors will be operating in the breezeway area and the Crazy Horse Saloon will be open in the food court                                                                
  • Show supplies will be available                                                                  
  • Show is not responsible for accident injury or loss                                                    
  • Show committee decisions are final
  • Wheel barrows or muck carts are encouraged due to the location of the manure pits and the size of the indoor facility

**RESERVED STALLING FOR SPONSORS** 
Disclaimer on Reserved Stalls - in event of inclement weather all stalls will be available for cattle only and tack stalls will be limited. The show committee has authority to reduce the reserved area and require 3 head per stall. Reserved stalls must be claimed by 8 pm Friday evening otherwise will be open for stalling.               

Large tents outside of the barn will be allowed this year at the Cattle Battle. There is a limited amount of tent space available near the show arena.

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities Celebrity Showdown - checks are to be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, turn in your money and sign up Friday before 5pm. Show is at 6pm.
     - You do not have to be a BEST participant to show in the Celebrity Showdown

When the indoor stalling barn is full, your options are:

 1) The outside horse barn (new LED lighting)
 2) Tent Rental
 3) Work off of your trailer

Camping is available for $30 per night per hookup. Electric only. This includes trailers with or without living quarters that are plugged into electric outside of the building. Please pay at the show office upon arrival. The fairgrounds staff will be checking the outdoor use of electrical units and may collect payment on site.
